Two men have been arrested in Saudi Arabia for offering free hugs to passers-by in the capital, Riyadh.

The Saudi religious police detained the two young men for indulging in exotic practices and offending public order.

The free hugs movement aims to "brighten up" people's lives by offering strangers hugs. A young Saudi man, Bandr al-Swed, posted a video of himself offering hugs to male strangers on YouTube, where it has received nearly 1.5m views.

"After seeing the Free Hugs Campaign in many different countries, I decided to do it in my own country," Mr Swed told al-Arabiya news. "I liked the idea and thought it could bring happiness to Saudi Arabia."

Britain's Independent newspaper reports that his video inspired two more young Saudis, Abdulrahman al-Khayyal and a friend. They offered hugs, advertised on a placard, in one of Riyadh's main shopping streets.

They were subsequently arrested by the kingdom's religious police, the Commission for the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice, which is charged with ensuring that sharia law is strictly adhered to.

The two were required to sign a pledge that they would not offer hugs again, reports say. The duties of Saudi Arabia's religious police, or mutawa, include preventing women driving, enforcing modest dress codes, policing bans on public entertainment and making sure all businesses close for prayers five times a day.

Some in the kingdom find the mutawa's powers an interference in their lives. The religious police attracted criticism for their role in a 2002 fire at a school in Mecca in which 15 girls died. The police were accused of trying to keep the girls inside the burning building because they were not wearing the proper black robes required of Saudi females.

A man moved into the house next door to his ex-wife and splashed out $7,000 erecting a 12ft statue of a middle finger in the garden.

Alan Markovitz – a strip club owner in Michigan – splashed out $7,000 on the huge figure but insists it is not aimed at his ex-wife Lea Tuohy but instead the man who she started an affair with while she was still married to Alan. He said: “I’m so over her. This is about him. This is about him not being a man.”

Alan is due to star in a HBO reality TV show entitled ‘Topless Prophet: The True Story of America’s Most Successful Gentleman’s Club Entrepreneur’, which has the same title as his autobiography.

Can couples really get stuck during sexual intimacy?  Medical doctors, whom some people dismiss as clueless regarding the matters of ‘sexual lock down’, describe the situation as a temporary medical condition that is treatable.

However in Ukambani, such ‘lock downs’ are normal. And they are not medical, according to traditional experts.

As a matter of fact, randy men who have affinity for preying on other men’s wives are advised to tread carefully, lest one bumps into a wife who has a ‘lock’. In Ukambani lovers have been busted stuck together while on the throes of intimate passion and unsuccessfully struggling to disentangle.
Lately though such have been witnessed elsewhere in the country where the unfortunate couples are hauled into police trucks, wrapped in blankets and dumped in hospitals to await their fate under bewildered doctors. In Kamba land, there exists mbingo (meaning lock) where a suspicious husband can ‘lock’ his wife such that she will never enjoy sexual bliss outside her marriage. Such mbingo is sometimes extended to homesteads where the family head, with the help of a witch-doctor, installs it to cushion his home from thieves and intruders.

But it is mbingo ya mundu muka (putting a lock on a woman) that continues to cause bewilderment among many people. Kamba traditionalists swear that this ‘lock’ helps to curb infidelity in couples and will catch the ‘thief’ pants down.

I sought to explore how this mbingo is installed, how it works and its effectiveness.
The results were dumbfounding and hilarious. Mzee Mbuvi Musyimi, 83, from Mukuthu village in Mwingi Central District says there are three types of mbingo that will prevent an amorous wife from straying. According to Musyimi, only men can ‘lock’ their wives and not the other way round.
“This is because the male species is wired for polygamy. Even the witch-doctors who fix this mbingo are men, so they will never lock their fellow men,” Musyimi says.

He says the first scenario is where a man buys a string and takes it to a witch-doctor where it is treated with muthea (magic portion). It is then handed over to the client as the witch-doctor mumbles incantations. The husband is advised to place the muthea laced cord at a strategic place in his homestead, such as on the way to the toilet, kitchen or bedroom where his wife will unknowingly jump over it.

“Use all your tricks to have her jump over the specially prepared string. Once she does, it is a deal. Take it and hide it at a place known only by you,” says Musyimi, adding that with such a simple operation the wife is permanently ‘under lock and key’. Musyimi notes that this is the worst form of mbingo since a thieving man will get stuck on the woman, his male organ swell and then die within hours.

Instead of killing the ‘thief’, Musyimi says many people prefer a second type of mbingo where you catch him in action and demand hefty compensation for ‘trespass’.

This is where a witchdoctor advises you to buy a knife that has a pouch. The witch-doctor will detach the knife from its pouch, treat it with muthea then give it back to the man.

“You are required to while away time from home for seven days, during which time the muthea becomes effective,” he says.

Hate him

A third type of mbingo involves inflicting temporary impotence on a stray man. Here a suspicious husband gets a powerful dose of muthea from a witch-doctor. One is then advised to discreetly apply this muthea on the private parts of the wife or a girlfriend.

“If another man comes knocking, his male organ will just become flaccid, lifeless and shrink. The woman will hate him for life,” says Musyimi, before breaking into a prolonged naughty laughter as I join in.

Shocking!!! High School Girls Gone Completely Crazy

Wednesday, November 13, 2013

A student stapled his testicles as a forfeit after losing a game of Fifa 13. Nathan Bells’s cringe-worthy challenge came after losing the Xbox match to friend Saber Da Silva. The student took the painful punishment as part of a ‘Fifa Forfeits Sunday’ event held at his halls of residence. Mr Bells, 20, studying at Leeds University, said: ‘It brought a tear to me eye. I usually beat Saber. He got lucky.’ The eye-watering moment he jammed a staple into his scrotum was broadcast on student news website, The Tab. ‘It was hilarious,’ said Mr Da Silva. ‘Nobody has turned down a forfeit yet.’ A video of the painful forfeit has also been circulating on social media this week. Elsewhere, an artist in Russia horrified tourists last week when he nailed his own testicles to the ground at one of the world’s most visited landmarks.

Meet the barking mad environmentalist who has taken his ‘tree hugger’ moniker to another level.

Following on from the man who married a pillow, comes this strange tale of a man’s true love for a tree.
Richard Torres, who was described in one report as a Johnny Depp doppelganger, married the tree in the Argentinian capital of Buenos Aries on Sunday as reported by KXAN.
Dressed in a white suit and blue hat, the Peruvian actor invited guests to perform readings at the ceremony in one of the city’s main parks.
The activist read his vows out loud and was given a ring before he kissed the tree several times to make the marriage official.
He said the unusual wedding was staged to highlight environmental issues and he now plans to bring his unique style of activism to countries throughout Latin America.

Another Crazy Marriage: Man marries tree in Argentina....... What do you Think?

True love can take many forms. In this case, it has taken the form of a Korean man falling in love with, and eventually marrying, a large pillow with a picture of a woman on it.

Lee Jin-gyu fell for his ‘dakimakura’ – a kind of large, huggable pillow from Japan, often with a picture of a popular anime character printed on the side. In Lee’s case, his beloved pillow has an image of Fate Testarossa, from the ‘magical girl’ anime seriesMahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha. Now the 28-year-old otaku (a Japanese term that roughly translates to somewhere between ‘obsessive’ and ‘nerd’) has wed the pillow in a special ceremony, after fitting it out with a wedding dress for the service in front of a local priest. Their nuptials were eagerly chronicled by the local media. ’He is completely obsessed with this pillow and takes it everywhere,’ said one friend. ’They go out to the park or the funfair where it will go on all the rides with him. Then when he goes out to eat he takes it with him and it gets its own seat and its own meal,’ they added.
The pillow marriage is not the first similarly-themed unusual marriage in recent times – it comes after a Japanese otaku married his virtual girlfriend Nene Anegasaki, a character who only exists in the Nintendo DS game Love Plus, last November.                   metro -->

Here's That Brookhouse School Fee Structure That Has Shocked Kenyans

A Chinese man divorced and then sued his ex-wife for giving birth to what he called an extremely ugly baby girl, the Irish Times reported. Initially, Jian Feng accused his wife of infidelity, so sure that he could never father an unattractive child. When a DNA test proved that the baby was his, Feng’s wife came clean on a little secret — before they met, she had undergone about $100,000 worth of cosmetic surgery in South Korea. Feng sued his ex-wife on the grounds of false pretenses, for not telling him about the plastic surgery and duping him into thinking she was beautiful, The Huffington Post reported. The kicker? He won. A judge agreed with Feng’s argument and ordered his ex-wife to fork over $120,000. “I married my wife out of love, but as soon as we had our first daughter, we began having marital issues,” he told the Irish Times. “Our daughter was incredibly ugly, to the point where it horrified me.”
